Alli is free during the beta, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. You can stop using it any time, and you can delete your account and data whenever you want.

Is it hard to set up?

No. You install Alli Home on a tablet, install Alli Care on a phone, and sign in to both with the same account, and that is it. See our Setup page for the full walkthrough.

Do I need WiFi?

Yes. Alli connects over your home WiFi, and a stable connection gives the best experience for reminders, updates, and checking in.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Your reminders will still work. Anything that needs the cloud syncs automatically once the connection returns.

What if the power goes out?

Alli should stay plugged in so it is always ready. If the power goes out, the tablet keeps running on its own battery for a few hours.

Does the person Alli is for need to use a phone?

Accepted Answer

No. Alli Home is an application that can stay open on a compatible third-party tablet or iPad at home; it is not proprietary Alli Care hardware. Alli Care is also an application and can be used by family members or the person themselves on a compatible Android or iOS device.

Is there a camera, and is it always recording?

No. The Services are not intended to continuously send ordinary household audio or video. Capture occurs for enabled interactions such as a task session, requested voice conversation, inspection, or separately opted-in wake-up improvement clip. See our Safety & Privacy page for more.

A lot. Alli handles schedule and medication reminders and confirms they were done, guides exercises and wellness modules, and keeps company with everyday conversation. It answers questions, including tech help like starting a video call with family, and offers gentle suggestions when someone is unsure how to handle a situation.
